I try not to post too many sunrise/sunset photos, but I just couldn’t resist this one. After working on sermon slides at church Thursday evening, I left just minutes before the sun sank below the horizon. Besides adding my watermark, this photo has not been edited. The colors were truly that beautiful. What a blessing!

Very pretty! I agree with not wanting to overdo the sunset pics, but every now and then it’s just too amazing to resist. I gave in and posted one in my 365 project (http://365project.org/#/kdv24/365/2012-01-17).
Thanks! Do you have to be a member of 365project.org to view your photos? I was looking forward to seeing your sunset photo, but it just brought me to a login page.
Oh, I didn’t realize that. With your interest in photography, you may enjoy the project anyway. The goal for each person is to post a picture for every day of the year- you don’t actually have to take one each day, but just assign one to each date. It’s a cool way to look back at the year in pictures.
I’ll try to see if there’s a way I can show the picture without you having to login, though.
Yeah, let me know! I did the 365 project last year on my blog, but I wasn’t signed up through that site. This year I’m just doing 1/week because it was so time-consuming.
Okay, I think I’ve it the link right now! It will take you to my whole 365 project, not just the one picture, but that’s okay (you’ll be able to tell which one is the sunset!). http://365project.org/kdv/365/2012-01
That one’s not working for me either. 😦 Maybe I just have to be a member.
Gorgeous shot! You captured it so beautifully!
Okay, Lindy… I have a solution! I made a photo blog where all my 365 project pics are housed. It doesn’t include all my explanation of how or why I took the photos like it does on 365project.org, but at least they are viewable! Here’s the link to the sunset picture that I took through my window and against all odds it turned out! http://365projectbykdv24.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/fire-in-the-sky/
