Hey there! Welcome to Photographic Rhodes; my name is Lindy. I grew up in Kansas, and as a kid, I started fiddling with my dad’s Pentax SLR camera. (The kind that actually uses film.) I went on to get a degree in commercial graphics with an emphasis in photography. Shortly after college, I began taking engagement photos for friends and donating my photography skills to nonprofits. Now I love shooting portraits around the Kansas City area – from newborns, to large families, to everything in-between.

As for as my full-time career, I’ve been a graphic designer/art director since 2008. I can also help you with your design needs! I design custom photo books, restore and retouch photos, design invitations or programs, create logos, and even help with brand identity.

I live in Olathe, Kansas with my husband, my two beautiful girls (Miss K and Miss M, who frequent the blog), and my two cats – Emmett and Esme. We love traveling and being outside.
