Days 303-304: Tricks & Treats

Since we don’t get trick-or-treaters at our apartment, we were happy to help out with Trunk or Treat at our church yesterday evening. I loved seeing all the creative costumes. And today our American Cancer Society office was transformed into the American Zombie Society for a Halloween luncheon. We ate brains (a potato bar) and learned all about how to survive a Zombie Apocalypse.

(FYI: Saturday’s photos will be posted in a day or two – I have about 250 photos from Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to sort through!)

Platte Woods United Methodist had hundreds of trick-or-treaters at their annual Trunk or Treat.

My coworker Cyndi gets her face painted like a zombie before our Halloween luncheon.

  1. this is great! i love the R2D2 costume, so classic (nerd alert!) i love seeing activities for families that everyone can have fun and celebrate together. unfortunately, trick or treating is not good in my neighborhood either, but we still like to take part in the festivities of family and togetherness!
