Family Portraits | Krumsick Family

Another one of my regular families chose Lenexa City Center for a change of pace from the usual parks. It was fun finding different spots for each family at the city center, especially because the three mini sessions were all family and didn’t want to end up with similar holiday cards & photos on their walls!

Family Photos | Northwood Trails

I’ve been in my happy place these past few weeks, soaking in all the beautiful autumn colors. Even right in my own neighborhood! I took these photos just down the street by our local park. You don’t need a picture-perfect location or a long, stressful session to get great photos. I try to keep the process easy, relaxed, and quick—while still capturing beautiful results!

Family Portraits | Siblings at Black Hoof Park

If you’re from the Kansas City area, you may recall that last weekend it rained Literally. All. Weekend. Long. Despite the cool, dreary weather, I was able to squeeze in a couple of family portrait sessions at Black Hoof Park. You can’t even tell how yucky it was outside! I’m posting these together, because like last weekend, we did two related families back-to-back. It was fun seeing the cousins get excited to see each other.

Family Portraits | Hobby Hill Park

Sometimes referrals lead to two family sessions back-to-back. What’s great is squeezing in a larger family picture between both sessions! I’m so happy the Robinson’s introduced me to Hobby Hill Park in the Northland – it’s gorgeous! I definitely see more portrait sessions there in my future. These kiddos are so much fun to take photos of, always being silly for the camera and finding fun spots to pose. Oh, and I can’t go without mentioning Hugo the pup … is he not the cutest with that tongue and those big smiles?

Ernie Miller Minis | Family of Five

I’ve had the joy of photographing this sweet family for several years now, and every session feels like a little reunion. The girls always bring such fun energy—coming up with their own poses and choosing their favorite spots. It’s moments like these that make my job so much fun!
