Ok, little Charlie may be the sweetest. dog. ever. If we ever get a dog, I may have to get a rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Just look at those eyes!

This weekend I finally got to meet my sister’s new cat. His coat may be the prettiest and softest I’ve ever seen or felt. Doesn’t he look so regal?

Happy 10th birthday to my nephew! We celebrated his birthday this weekend with a Minecraft theme, and as you can see he was pretty excited about it.

For some reason my husband thinks it’s hilarious to call our friend’s adorable puppy Fluffy Spice. Her real name is Maggie, and she is a tiny 3 pound ball of fluff. She gets so excited, that when she jumps in the air she completely flips over!

This weekend we celebrated my nephew’s 10th birthday. I think my husband had more fun with the new toys than my nephew did – he spent quite a bit of time building a huge marble track, eventually using every piece in the Marble Run set and the extender set. Don’t you love his concentration level?

Our Glacier National Park vacation started with a couple of days in Seattle and an Amtrak ride to the park. Seattle has so much to offer, but my favorite site was the Chihuly Garden and Glass Gallery at the bottom of the Space Needle. I believe it was a temporary display, so I can’t say whether it’s still there. We actually went twice in one day – once in the afternoon and once after dark. Dale Chihuly is the guy who designed the glass work in the Bellagio in Las Vegas, if you’ve ever been there. His art is absolutely stunning, don’t you think? Have you ever seen his art in person?
To answer yesterday’s question, the photo was taken at Glacier National Park. Here’s another one of my favorite photos of GNP – bear grass along the Grinnell Glacier hike. See my blog post about our Glacier National Park vacation last year.
Sometimes leaves can be just as pretty as blooms, especially when the sun hits them just right and they’re covered in water droplets. I have to say though, I’m looking forward to this lily blooming.

I accidentally watered this guy last night along with my green beans, but he didn’t seem to mind. He probably enjoyed it with all the dry weather we’ve had lately. I’m thinking it’s a katydid – can anyone confirm?
