I’ve had a beautiful time taking photos this fall, and these new clients were no exception! This was my final session at the Lenexa City Center, but we switched it up and went to the fields across the street in search of some fall foliage and golden light. Here are a few of my favorite shots!

Another one of my regular families chose Lenexa City Center for a change of pace from the usual parks. It was fun finding different spots for each family at the city center, especially because the three mini sessions were all family and didn’t want to end up with similar holiday cards & photos on their walls!

I’ve been in my happy place these past few weeks, soaking in all the beautiful autumn colors. Even right in my own neighborhood! I took these photos just down the street by our local park. You don’t need a picture-perfect location or a long, stressful session to get great photos. I try to keep the process easy, relaxed, and quick—while still capturing beautiful results!

A few days before my mini sessions, most all of the leaves blew off the trees. That’s ok though – there’s always plenty of beautiful settings to work with after the leaves drop. Grasses, golden sunlight, leaves on the ground, pond reflections…see for yourself!
