I traveled to Austin, Texas this week for work. I didn’t carry my camera with me everywhere, but I did manage to continue taking photos every day. We stayed right on the beautiful Lady Bird Lake. Had I hauled my DSLR camera with me on my morning run around the lake, I could have gotten lots of fabulous photos – from swarms of bats, to hundreds of runners, to a beautiful sunrise. I truly love the vibe of this city.
Congress Avenue Bridge at night. Thousands of bats live under this bridge and come out at dusk, but I was never around to see it.This bike (the kind with a motor) was built for Lance Armstrong during the American Chopper TV show. It’s now displayed at the Livestrong Foundation, which we toured on Wednesday. An early morning view of Lady Bird Lake, which is often occupied by rowers.
