I think we jumped straight from winter to summer in the last few days. I absolutely loved spending so much time outside this weekend. We rode bikes, grilled, enjoyed a couple meals on the patio, and hung out with friends – all outdoors!

Two days ago I posted a photo of some pretty pink buds on a tree. Within 24 hours, those buds turned into this! Even though it looks like a beautiful spring day, it was really only 40 degrees outside yesterday.

Yesterday was such a great spring day! We went for a long walk and noticed lots of budding flowers on the trees. Today many of those buds blossomed – a sure sign that my favorite season has finally arrived!

I think this photo tells how much fun we had at our spring party at work on Friday. We had an egg relay, egg dying, and an egg hunt. The winners of the egg relay walked away with a package of Peeps, but the best prize was a half-day off work in the egg hunt, which was never found!

I spent about 3 hours last night boiling 54 eggs for our spring party at work. Then I had to test the dye to make sure our egg dying would be a success. It looks like it will be!

It rained most of the day yesterday, which resulted in a lot of puddles around the apartment. Sometimes a stream builds near our patio, but luckily we didn’t have enough rain for that.
