One of my favorite portrait sessions each year is this family – because they let me shoot and design their humorous Christmas cards! They always have the most creative ideas. I can’t show their card just yet, but I did want to share a couple of photos of them. They are the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and their dogs are seriously adorable, sweet, and so well-behaved.
Yesterday my office hosted its annual Bring Your Dog to Work Day in support of the American Cancer Society Bark For Life event. The day began with a doggie meet-and-greet, and the dogs hung out around the office throughout the day. We wrapped up the afternoon with an ice cream social, complete with ice cream doggie treats! I didn’t have a pup to bring to the event, but I did get to doggie-sit while one coworker was on a call. It definitely made for a lively day at the office!
The gorgeous weather sure brought out the crowds at the Louisburg Cider Mill last weekend, but we still had a good time exploring the corn maze and wandering through the pumpkin patch with Baby K and friends. Her new best friend is Olaf, the puppy!
Sweet Gracie Belle, a good friend’s dog, had major ACL surgery yesterday. Here’s to hoping she has a quick recovery!
I took photos of Brian & Jill yesterday evening, and I can’t wait to sort through, edit, and post a few more. They are such a fun, photogenic couple – especially when you throw in their sweet dog Charlie! Just wait ’till you see the photos we did for their Christmas card – hilarious!
My husband’s aunt breeds and shows these dogs, but this weekend was the first time we got to meet a litter of her pups. These sweet girls were only 4 weeks old. I’ll give you 3 guesses on what breed they are, and you may need all 3 – they don’t look anything like the full-grown dogs!
Ok, little Charlie may be the sweetest. dog. ever. If we ever get a dog, I may have to get a rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Just look at those eyes!
For some reason my husband thinks it’s hilarious to call our friend’s adorable puppy Fluffy Spice. Her real name is Maggie, and she is a tiny 3 pound ball of fluff. She gets so excited, that when she jumps in the air she completely flips over!
I’m not a ‘large dog’ person, but I have to admit that the Great Pyrenees is a beautiful creature. You can tell how big this one is by comparing the size of my husband’s hands to her head. This one is only 9 months old…not even full-grown yet.
