We like to go to Powell Gardens, just east of Kansas City, about once a year. They have the most beautiful seasonal gardens around.
Check out last year’s photos, too.

Ok, this is my final photo from Powell Gardens. This is a view of the “garden quilt,” taken from the top of a silo. Check out the rest of the series below.

I shot this photo a couple of weeks ago at Powell Gardens. If you can’t tell how much I loved it, check out the other 5 photos I’ve already posted. And there might just be one more on the way.

Happy Monday! Here’s another photo from last week’s trip to Powell Gardens.

This beautiful scene reminds me of something Monet would have enjoyed painting – minus the water lilies of course. (Those were in my photo from Wednesday.)
Question: Does anyone know what the little pink flowers are in the foreground? They remind me of poppies, but I thought they were red.

Why, hello little guy!

If you took a guess at yesterday’s photo, the correct answer is the Chapel at Powell Gardens just outside of Kansas City. Powell Gardens is home to this chapel, several types of flower gardens, fountains and water gardens, vegetable gardens, trails, and so much more. It’s such a beautiful place to visit that I’ve got about a week’s worth of photos to show you!
