Day 305: Go Chiefs?

I may not be a huge football fan, but I am proud of the Kansas City Chiefs after their Monday Night Football win against the Chargers, ranking them first in the division. I think I got that right. I guess someone (or lots of someones) was even more excited than I was – this downtown building was lit up in Chiefs colors Tuesday morning.

Day 235: Light Trails

I have been meaning to experiment with light trail photos for quite a while, and since there was nothing going on last night and it’s getting darker earlier, it was the perfect opportunity. This is an 8 second exposure of cars passing by. Whaddya think?

You can see the light trails from cars’ tail lights as they pass by in North Kansas City.

Day 10: Peaceful Snowfall

Before the 6 inches of treacherous snowfall, before the morning commute with dozens of car wrecks, before the school cancellations and the worrying, was a peaceful snowfall. I’m glad I could capture the beauty of it rather than the danger.
