World, meet JJ! He’s the sweetest little guy, and I’m honored his family chose me to take their family photos with him. Newborns are the most challenging and rewarding portraits I take, but I love every second of it. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the beautiful family!

Newborn Photos | Little Willow
I’m excited to share these final photos of 2023 with you … and what better way to wrap up the year than with a sweet newborn? Little Willow was about six weeks old when I took these photos last weekend – the perfect age for bright eyes and glimmers of smiles. We had the best backdrop too – a beautiful Victorian family home. I’ve had so much fun editing these!

World…meet Nora. She was absolutely adorable throughout her modeling debut, and it was great catching up with her parents and watching them fall so naturally into parenthood. I’m honored to be a part of capturing their early memories together! Here are just a few of my favorites.
KC Newborn Cutie
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family and their brand new baby, just a few days old! Typically the newest of newborns sleep so much you can get those sweet posed, sleeping photos, but this girl was wide awake almost the whole session! We still got some adorable photos of her, proud big brother, and her glowing parents.

I am always honored when I’m asked to photograph a newborn, and doubly so when it’s for a new client. Little Elaine is a truly precious gift, and she did great in her modeling debut! It certainly didn’t hurt that Dada & Papa did an amazing job collecting props and coming up with ideas. Isn’t she perfect?

Baby Hollyn made her appearance just about two weeks ago, and I had the privilege of meeting and photographing her last weekend! She did an amazing job – sleeping when she needed to, barely crying, giving me a couple of smiles, and being chill through the whole session. She’s one beautiful, sweet baby! Remember this beautiful maternity session from a few months ago? Well, I got to meet the one-month old for family photos last weekend. Check out the photos – could he be any more perfect? There’s so much love in these photos, I had an incredibly hard time narrowing them down!

Baby Abigail
One of my favorite photo families welcomed their third baby girl last week, and I had the honor of taking some newborn and family photos of them. They invited me (well, I invited myself) into their home just a few days after birth, because I was hoping to get both those sweet sleeping baby photos (the ones where you can pose them however you like), along with some awake photos. Unlike my newborn daughter, Abby was wide awake the entire time! I may not have captured a lot of posed shots of her, but I definitely got to showcase her beautiful newborn eyes and get some great shots of the family. You can tell they’re so in love with their newest edition!
