On the long walk to the car after this weekend’s Kansas City Irish Fest, I grabbed my tripod for a shot of this Union Station sign. Photos of the front of Union Station are pretty common, but this angle is a bit different. If you twist my arm I may post some street photography shots of Irish Fest later this week – it’s a great place to people watch!

Day 348: A Different Kind of Light
I’ve been taking a lot of pictures of Christmas lights lately, so I decided to shoot a different kind of light. Since yesterday brought unseasonably warm temperatures, it was the perfect opportunity to set up the tripod and photograph lights at night. These neon signs light up the front of the Quaff Bar & Grill in downtown Kansas City.
