Days 239-240: Family Fun in T-Town

This weekend we hung out in Topeka to celebrate my sister’s birthday. I’ll be nice and not tell the whole world how old she is. 🙂

Day 223: Life’s Like a Box of Chocolates

When I got to work yesterday morning, I found this box of chocolates waiting for me at my door. So what if it was accompanied by a long list of edits to the 30-page program I’m working on with the coworker? Whether it was a bribe or not, the chocolate was definitely appreciated later in the day.

Days 210-211: It’s GO for party

This weekend we went to Topeka to celebrate my nephew’s 8th birthday. We had a “blast” at his space-themed party, with a space cake and decorations, official NASA name badges, space trivia, and lot of fun had by all.

Friday evening I wrapped Spencer's present, with my cat's help of course.

Day 45: A Simple Love

Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. Like a Valentine’s Day evening spent at home with handmade cards and thoughtful gifts; a home-cooked meal; a great episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition; and most importantly, a wonderful husband!
