I don’t frequently post my graphic design work on my blog, but I thought I’d share this postcard I designed for the St. Louis chapter of the American Marketing Association. After looking around on etsy and realizing that purchasing and framing prints for our baby room would be expensive, I decided to make my own! Two of the 12×12 prints are shown below – the third one has the baby’s name so I didn’t want to post it yet. We’re making progress on the room, and we’re going to reveal the gender this weekend at a shower, so stay tuned for some exciting updates! Any guesses on boy vs. girl? (Please don’t comment if you already know.)
You may recall that I did portraits for this couple a couple of months ago. At the end of the photo session, they broke out their “ugly Christmas sweaters” and an antique sled for some fun Christmas card photos. Unfortunately (or fortunately, since it was October) there was no snow on the ground. After a bit of work in Photoshop, this is the card I developed for them. I love their fun-loving spirits and creativity!
Over the last couple of months I’ve done a couple of freelance design projects for the Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The great part is that I can work on a design project for you no matter where you’re located. With a little bit of background information, a logo, and some branding guidelines, I was able to create an invitation and several ads for my client. Check them out below.
I spent the last couple weeks working with a family friend on his new small business identity. A local printer gave him two sub par business card proofs, so he turned to me for some creative ideas. A few proofs later, he now has his own logo and business cards.
After brainstorming his likes and dislikes, I gave him 12 different logo designs.
He picked his top 3, so I created 3 business card samples.
These are the final results!

After several months of planning with members of Broadway United Methodist and quite a few revisions, we developed a modern brochure for the church. Below is the final result. (This is a tri-fold brochure, so the front cover is on the right-hand side.)
