This little guy is such a blessing! You really do forget, very quickly, how small babies start out. I was thrilled to take these documentary-style newborn photos last weekend. Dylan did a great job with our nearly two-hour long photo shoot. The hardest part has been narrowing down the photos! Here are just a few of my favorites.

Portrait Session | Fall Has Begun
As you can see, I had a busy weekend taking photos! Before we started this family portrait session, we commented on how unfortunate it was that the trees had barely started turning. But check out this first photo – we found the perfect tree. I loved photographing this family – chasing around the boys in their element. This is why I’m a lifestyle photographer!
Baby Caleb | Newborn Photos
I’m always excited to visit to the hospital when my friends and family give birth – there’s not much better than holding a sweet newborn baby. I got to meet baby Caleb when he was just two days old. He was absolutely perfect – not a blemish to be found. He’s one week old today, and I’m sure he’s already changed! His mama went through a lot to bring him into this world – it’s the beginning of a lifetime of love for this little one.
Photo of the Day: Swing, Swing, Swing

Photo of the Day: Boys Will Be Boys
This weekend we celebrated my nephew’s 10th birthday. I think my husband had more fun with the new toys than my nephew did – he spent quite a bit of time building a huge marble track, eventually using every piece in the Marble Run set and the extender set. Don’t you love his concentration level?
Family Portraits | Darn Cute Kids
Ok, so I’m a little biased. I did a portrait session for my in-laws last week, and I can’t help but think these kids (my 6-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew) are pretty cute. Their best features? Beth’s pretty smile and Caleb’s ornery facial expressions.Which photo is your favorite?
Hang tight, photos with Mom & Dad will be posted tomorrow. I didn’t want to post too many at once, and I love keeping you all in suspense.
