While visiting baby Addison in the hospital this weekend, we were thoroughly entertained by big brother Colton. He was having a good time running and jumping around the room, hiding in the curtain, and most importantly – playing on his parents’ iPad. He may only be 20 months old, but he’s probably better at it than I am! See how he’s changed in the blog posts below.
I’m happy to show off the beautiful baby Addison, born late Saturday night to one of my best friends. I’m sure this won’t be the last you see of her on my blog!
On our way home from the Maple Leaf Fest this weekend, I couldn’t help but pull over to snap a few photos of the countryside during the gorgeous golden hour before sunset.

This is my cousin’s gorgeous little girl, sporting her big sister’s dance tutu.
I loved watching this sweet mama kangaroo and her joey (in her pouch) resting in the sunlight. Believe it or not, I didn’t even have to zoom in to get this photo – I was actually that close. One of my favorite parts of Tanganyika Wildlife Park was petting the kangaroos. Check out my other photos from Tanganyika if you haven’t seen them yet.

The best days are days spent with family. This weekend we had a full house with my dad’s side of the family, which included 9 adults and 8 kids. My cousin Cyndie’s children all have the most beautiful big, blue eyes. Ruthie is the youngest of 6, and her newborn photos were featured on my blog in October. She’s sure growing fast!

I couldn’t wait to post this cute photo of Ellie & Annie during Annie’s newborn portraits yesterday. Little Annie, despite making her way into the world a few weeks early and only being a couple of weeks old, was determined to stay awake through the entire photo shoot! I can’t wait to share more photos with you tomorrow.
It’s funny how babies will sleep through anything – even a mob of 2,500 people at a 5k run.
