Wow, time flies. This weekend I got to shoot Heidi’s one-year photos. I love watching this sweet girl grow…she’s only three months older than my daughter, so it’s always fun to see what’s in store for me in a few months! Baby K just loves our black cat, Emmett. He’s the most laid back cat you’ll ever meet – he actually goes up to her and lets her pull his hair or grab his ears. He’s just happy to get attention from someone! I love watching their sweet relationship grow.

Well, he’s not really Baby K’s twin, but this cutie was born the same day! They had a fun play date at our house this weekend. We joked that he tested our baby-proofing for us, since he was a bit more active than Baby K.

Baby K is three-quarters of a year old today! This was her first monthly photo in the snow. 🙂 She had a great play date today with my best high school friend’s baby – who has the exact same birthday! I can’t wait to go through those adorable photos.

I thought she was just being affectionate … turns out she had a stomach bug. The only good thing about babies being sick is the sweet cuddles. As an added bonus, our cat Emmett joined in the snuggles.

Yesterday was a very special day – our beautiful Baby K was baptized. We were so blessed to have so many people there to witness the occasion – close family, Godparents, friends from our small group, and a large and loving congregation. I feel so incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives … looking after and praying for Baby K. To all of you … thank you!
