For the last few weeks as I’ve been doing yoga more regularly, I’ve noticed the narrow focus your eyes have when you’re in child’s pose and look down toward your feet. Because you’re looking at something so close, very little is in focus. Depth of field in photography works much the same way, so I attempted to capture it with my camera. How did I do? Does what I’m saying even make sense? Am I weird for comparing yoga to photography?
It’s official – my husband and I are homeowners! We closed on a house this afternoon. Now just four long days until we get possession…
My husband and I started dating 6 years ago today, so I thought I’d share a photo from that first date. We’ve sure changed a lot since then!
During our ladies weekend, we had fun with an anti-stress Dead Sea minerals face mask. I figured none of the other women would want their blue faces posted on my blog, so here’s a self-portrait in the mirror.
My favorite shoes … my favorite pants … it’s going to be a good day!
Last week was so busy, from a Fountain City Brass Band concert, to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, to my wedding anniversary. I haven’t had time to sort through many photos yet, so I’m posting a photo from our quick anniversary self-portrait photo session. We try to take photos every year on our anniversary, so we’ll be able to go back and see how we’ve changed from year-to-year. I don’t think we’ve changed too much yet. 🙂 These will serve as our Christmas photos, too.
By the way, don’t forget that Wednesday is the last day to book your holiday portraits!
Being sick is no fun. This is my first bout with food poisoning, and I certainly hope it’s my last. I spent most of the day yesterday like this.
