Photo Essay of Vernon
My husband and I visited Grandpa to give him a small gift – a wedding photo of us.
He took his time and opened it very carefully.
He studied it …
And he finally gave us a little smile.
Although his Alzheimer’s prevents him from talking much, it’s obvious that things like this brighten his day. He didn’t want to let go of the photo when we left, so we let him keep a hold of it instead of hanging it on the wall.

Family Portraits | Baby Caleb
On Fourth of July, I spent some time with 4 month-old Caleb and his family. He was somber at first, but after a while we got him laughing. What a beautiful baby!
Perez Family
Last weekend I did family portraits for the Perez family. It was the only time all of the grand kids have been together for a family photo – I feel honored to capture them together! Even though it was raining, we had a good time. Below are a few of the photos.

This week I had the privilege of shooting family portraits for Shawn, Angela, and 6-week old Grace. We picked the hottest day of the year, but we managed to get some good shots with beautiful baby Grace at the gorgeous Loose Park.

Lindsey & Aaron | Engagement
I spent Monday evening with Lindsey and Aaron shooting their engagement pictures. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time exploring new locations at the park. Their dog, Lilly, was a great model!
