I’m so, so excited for Team Tallmadge to be adding a new baby to the family! We really struggled finding a nice outdoor/nature location in early April that didn’t look totally brown. We settled on Ernie Miller Nature Center, and I’m so happy we did. I just love how these turned out with the tall grasses and bridge. Maternity Portraits | Nature Sanctuary
Last weekend I had the honor of shooting maternity and family portraits for this beautiful family! We squeezed in the shoot right before a rainstorm at Ernie Miller Nature Sanctuary, but you’d never know it from how these turned out. Remember this cute couple? They’re due with baby #2 next month! We spent some time last week at Shawnee Mission Park at sunset, capturing photos of mama and her adorable “bump”, proud big brother, and the happy couple. I cannot wait for the newborn snuggles!
Mommy and Me | Maternity Portraits
Last weekend I had the chance to shoot a friends’ maternity portraits with her little girl. I’m so impressed by how well little Nora did and how great the photos turned out! Both were naturals in front of the camera. Daddy is going to love his Father’s Day gift! (Shhh…if you know him…don’t tell!)

Baby On The Way
No, this isn’t my pregnancy announcement!
I had the pleasure of taking photos and creating a pregnancy announcement for one of my favorite couples. I am beyond excited that they are expecting their first baby in August! They are the most deserving couple you’ll ever meet, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that they’re going to be amazing parents.
They are avid backpackers, so we took a hike to one of their favorite trees, stopping for several photo ops along the way. We had to get the perfect moment in the perfect spot. And I’m so glad we did, because I think these turned out just right!
