I’ve had the joy of photographing this sweet family for several years now, and every session feels like a little reunion. The girls always bring such fun energy—coming up with their own poses and choosing their favorite spots. It’s moments like these that make my job so much fun!

Last weekend, I got to soak up the autumn light at Ernie Miller Nature Center with a few mini sessions — and wow, that place is showing off this time of year!
First up were Julie and Andy, who mentioned the last time they had professional photos taken was with Easter bunnies. Needless to say, they were overdue for some updated photos — and they totally nailed it.

When family comes to town from across the country, how can you not include them in your photo session? This one was extra special — spanning four generations of cousins, parents, uncles and aunts, grandparents, and even great-grandparents. A little class, a little chaos, and a whole lot of joy.

After a few months’ winter hibernation, I’m back with my first spring portraits of 2025! I’ve been doing this family’s photos for years, and we finally circled back to a location when did several years ago – Antioch Park. And yes…we may have recreated a couple photos. Family Portraits | A little red and a little blue
I always love the energy this family brings to their portraits … and how laid back they are. When the little ones want jewels on their face or have to be woken up for portraits, they roll with it. The results are “real life” shots … perfect in their own way! They’ll be so fun to look back on a few years from now.
Newborn Photos | Little Willow
I’m excited to share these final photos of 2023 with you … and what better way to wrap up the year than with a sweet newborn? Little Willow was about six weeks old when I took these photos last weekend – the perfect age for bright eyes and glimmers of smiles. We had the best backdrop too – a beautiful Victorian family home. I’ve had so much fun editing these!
