Sticking with tradition, Lil’ Miss K turned twenty-two months old a week ago, but I just now got around to taking her monthly photo. (Had to get a true comparison, right?) Has she changed since last month? It’s hard for me to tell. I think maybe her hair has grown a little. I can hardly believe she’ll be two in February. At that point I’ll switch to quarterly photos.
I’m taking a quick break from my professional photos to peek into our lives this afternoon. Lil’ Miss K always falls asleep on the way home from church, but usually she wakes up when we get her out of the car. Today however, she was so worn out she stayed asleep on Daddy, which gave me a rare opportunity to capture this sweet moment.
Lil’ Miss K turned 19 months old yesterday – she’ll be 2 before we know it! Her current favorites are talking, throwing a ball, and sliding at the park. She was a bit grumpy while we took these photos – it was almost bedtime and she’d just had vaccination shots. She’s not changing as quickly as she used to, but feel free to compare to last month’s photos.
I’m a couple of days behind, but Lil’ Miss K turned a year and a half old on Saturday! It’s hard to believe she’s halfway to two. Here’s how she has grown since last month.
Lil’ Miss K turned sixteen months old on Monday! I’m a couple days late taking photos, but better late than never. She has the “Rhodes eyebrow scowl” in the first photo. See how she’s changed since last month.
I love shooting one-year-old photos – they’re just starting to take their first steps (or in Gage’s case he’s already been walking three months!), they laugh and smile all the time, and they’re just FUN. I love all the props Gage’s mamma had for this photo shoot – it turned out beautifully.
Lil’ Miss K turned fifteen months old yesterday! I think she’s grown a lot since last month – what do you think? She doesn’t stand still nearly as well now, and she was talking and shaking her arms in the second photo. 🙂 I’m glad I continued these photos past one year since she still seems to be changing so quickly.
I’m always excited to visit to the hospital when my friends and family give birth – there’s not much better than holding a sweet newborn baby. I got to meet baby Caleb when he was just two days old. He was absolutely perfect – not a blemish to be found. He’s one week old today, and I’m sure he’s already changed! His mama went through a lot to bring him into this world – it’s the beginning of a lifetime of love for this little one.
Lil’ Miss K is currently taking an “Aquatots” swim class at our community center. I was a little taken aback that in the first five minutes of the first swim lesson, I had to dunk her underwater! But she’s doing great – she doesn’t mind going under or lying on her back, and she loves “jumping” off the side. I can’t wait to take her to the pool this summer!
These photos turned out pretty decent, despite the fact that we shot them right before bed, and she was diagnosed with bronchitis today (poor baby). Lil’ Miss K is a trooper in my book!
