Happy St. Patrick’s Day! After an incredibly busy couple of weeks, I’m back to blogging. Three days after we moved in to our new house, my husband and I took a road trip. Can you guess where we went by the photo below?
After a very long week of packing, cleaning, painting, moving, and unpacking, we have officially moved into our first house. A big thank-you to all of our family who made the move go so quickly a smoothly.
You may have seen my post last week stating that we bought a house. This week, on top of working full time, we’ll be getting the house ready for move-in. Our big move is Saturday, then we’ve only got a couple of days to unpack before our next big adventure. (Any guesses on what that is?) My blog posts will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks, so please bear with me.

Are you tired of seeing snow photos yet? Well, you may have to put up with a couple more since the ground is still covered with snow. I think it’ll be around for a while.
This delicate little tree bud was covered in snow and ice earlier this week during “Winter Storm Q.”
It’s official – my husband and I are homeowners! We closed on a house this afternoon. Now just four long days until we get possession…
Yesterday evening I drove home during a winter storm with huge snowflakes. In a matter of minutes, the ground was covered. (Don’t worry Dad, this was taken at a red light.)
With a foot of snow on the ground and another foot expected tonight, I’ve never been more ready for spring. It seems so late in the season for such heavy accumulation, but I did find this photo in my archives from exactly two years ago.
